VIVE Health & Fitness is now an Official HYROX Training Club, the first in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Here is what that means for you:
- Free pop-up classes to start: the first one runs Saturday, August 15 at 10 AM, free, with 16 spots, first come first served.
- The official curriculum: HYROX Foundational is HYROX's own entry-level format, coached live by VIVE. Form first, intensity second.
- Home in VIVE Arena: HYROX Classes live inside our coached small group training program at 500 Third Ave, Kingston.
What is HYROX?
HYROX is a global indoor fitness race with one identical format everywhere in the world: run 1 kilometer, complete a functional workout station, and repeat that eight times. Over half a million athletes compete every year, and every finisher gets an official time that is comparable worldwide.
The stations are the same at every race: SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges and wall balls. In class, every station scales to you. Weights, distances and pace all adjust to your level, so your first session works whether you're chasing a race or just a great workout.
What's happening at VIVE?
We're kicking things off with free pop-up classes over the next few weeks while the ongoing schedule takes shape. The first one is Saturday, August 15 at 10 AM inside VIVE Arena: HYROX Foundational, 60 minutes, 16 spots, completely free. No experience needed and nothing to pay.
A VIVE coach runs the whole hour, from the first rep to the last. You'll move through the real stations on the Arena turf, learn the movements properly, and leave knowing exactly what fitness racing feels like.
How do I claim a spot?
- Book online: the live schedule on our HYROX Training page shows every upcoming pop-up date.
- Book in the apps: the VIVE app and the Mindbody app both list the class.
- Or just call: 570.371.3572 and we'll save your spot. Bring water and workout clothes; we handle the rest.
What does it cost after the pop-ups?
There is no separate HYROX program to buy. HYROX Classes are part of VIVE Arena, so regular Arena pricing covers them: Unlimited Arena is $85 a month, class packs run $75 for 5, $120 for 10 and $200 for 20, and member drop-ins are $18. Every new VIVE member also gets two free Arena classes, and they work for HYROX Classes too.
