TRX Suspension Training

The TRX Suspension Trainer is the original, best-in-class workout system that leverages gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of exercises. You’re in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise, because you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance.

TRX was founded and invented by Randy Hetrick who graduated from college at USC and spent the next 14 years serving as a Navy SEAL commando. With sewing skills learned in the SEALs, Randy experimented with an old jiu-jitsu belt and surplus parachute webbing and hung it over a door. This unique tool that Randy created became the basis for the TRX of today.

Training Philosophy

No part of the body is an island unto itself. Try to pick up a pen off the floor using just your hand. It’s impossible. Even simple movements simultaneously engage the legs, core, shoulders, arms, and neck. The body is an interconnected chain of muscles. Every movement we perform is a whole-body movement. That’s why TRX Training uses tools and movements that challenge the entire body in every plane of motion.
