When did you start at VIVE?
I joined back in March of 2015. However, I did not start working on my fitness until May of 2015.
How did VIVE help you reach your goals?
Vive helped me reach my goals but putting me in for the FITSTART program with Corey Owen, VIVE Personal Trainer. I have been training diligently with Corey for almost ten months. I trained three times a week in one-on-one personal training sessions and two times a week in group functional training. He makes it impossible for me to give up and continues to push me day in and day out. I never thought I would be able to run, now I can run! I can also do 150 jumping jacks!
What are your feelings about your experience, your future plans or goals, since reaching this milestone?
Definitely, without a doubt, this experience has been an emotional roller coaster. I couldn’t be happier with how my body and my mind have been feeling, but it’s still emotional noticing such huge changes.
My future plan is to continue training, continue running, get better at jumps, stop being negative and just keep working towards my goals!
What is your advice to anyone looking to lose weight to improve their health?
Exercise to be fit, not skinny, eat healthy to nourish your body and always ignore the doubters and unhealthy examples. YOU ARE WORTH MORE THAN YOU REALIZE! Don’t give up!
