One 55 minute Barre Class will give you a full-body workout that concentrates on exercise of arms, abs, thighs, and hips. VIVE's fitness classes are low-impact so you can dance, try ballet, and protect your joints. Barre is a fun, sexy, and energetic workout that fuses different techniques from disciplines like yoga and pilates.

You can use the barre as a tool to help you balance while you execute the exercises that focus on strength training and high repetition range-of-motion movements. These classes are designed to burn calories, tone muscles, and make for a fun time. No experience is needed!

Barre, a Total Body Workout

This dance/strength combination class may incorporate light hand weights and resistance bands, which aim to up your strength and fitness levels. A soft exercise ball that is used for lower-body movements to engage your leg muscles may also be used. At VIVE, you can burn serious calories in barre classes without having to do cumbersome compound movements like presses and squats. With simple small, one-inch increments that are called isometric movements, you will find these benefits:
